Mr William G. Carpenter
Mr Carpenter has more than 20 years of direct experience in the polyethylene pipe industry in the areas of polyethylene and polypropylene extrusion welding, plastics material testing and on site Quality Assurance and the analysis of weld failure. He is the author of several Australian Industry accepted courses in HDPE welding and has travelled extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and China carrying out PE related QA and has in his career trained in excess of 2000 Butt Fusion operators.
Mr Robert Hall
Mr Hall has over 40 years experience in polyethylene pipes. He began his association with the industry in 1963 when his father became the first in the Southern Hemisphere to extrude polyethylene pipe. Since that time he has been involved in extrusion, fabrication, installation and related equipment manufacture. In 1983 he left Flowmaster and started a joint venture with Von Roll Switzerland, later replacing Von Roll with Wavin Netherlands. Mr Hall sat on Standards Australia committees for plastic pipes and fittings for more than 15 years and represented the Australian plastics industry on a Senate select committee. Wavin-Hall was sold in 1998 to Georg Fisher. Today, Rob is the Managing Director and owner of Worldpoly.
